Bio
I received my PhD in Health Services from the University of Washington School of Public Health, Department of Health Systems and Population Health, and my B.A. in Global Public Health & Sociology at New York University.
I am currently a Postdoctoral Associate at the Center for Racial Justice and Equitable Futures at Cornell University, where I support states in taking equity approaches when navigating changes to Medicaid and other healthcare access.
My work is driven by the pursuit of healthier and more equitable futures for all. I firmly believe in the strength and power of communities marginalized by structural oppression. By engaging critically and reflexively with the research process, research itself can be a transformative opportunity for students, communities, and researchers alike.
Outside of academia, I enjoy café and bakery hopping, trying new arts & crafts (right now it's pottery and print-making!), and hanging out with my cat, Clementine.
